EMDR and Brainspotting

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy used to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and other distressing life experiences. EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or stuck.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to support the brain’s natural ability to process and resolve difficult experiences. It’s especially effective for PTSD, complex trauma, and anxiety, and often leads to faster results than talk therapy alone.

What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps you access and process trauma, emotional pain, and stuck patterns by working with the connection between your brain and body. It uses eye positions (“brainspots”) linked to stored trauma or emotional experiences, allowing for deep healing without needing to talk through every detail.
Brainspotting is especially effective for PTSD, anxiety, performance blocks, and unresolved trauma, and often helps people move through issues that haven’t responded to traditional talk therapy.
